Terms of Service

Acceptance of Terms

By using PhotoRestoration, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

What the Service Does

PhotoRestoration takes the photographs you upload and produces a new image or video from them, in one of four modes:

• Restore — repair damage and bring back detail in a faded or degraded photograph.
• Colorize — add colour to a black-and-white or sepia photograph.
• Repair — rebuild torn, scratched, or missing areas.
• Animate — turn a still photograph into a short moving clip.

Image results are produced while you wait; animations render in the background and are collected by your browser when they finish. Results come from AI models and are inherently unpredictable — we do not guarantee that any particular photograph will produce a usable result, and the service must not be relied on for forensic, medical, legal, or identity-verification purposes.

Your Photos and Your Results

You keep every right you already hold in the photographs you upload. We claim no ownership of your images — they are yours before you upload them and yours afterwards.

You grant us only the limited permission we need to run the service: to store your upload, send it to a third-party AI model provider for processing, and return the result to you.

The output we generate for you is licensed to you for any lawful use, personal or commercial, and we claim no ownership of that either.

You confirm that you have the right to upload each photograph you submit, and that doing so infringes nobody else's rights.

Credits and Payment

Credits are bought one time. There is no subscription and no recurring billing: you pay once for a pack and the credits land in your balance.

• Credits do not expire — they stay in your account until you spend them.
• A failed render is refunded automatically. Credits return to your balance without you needing to ask.
• The price of each action is published on our pricing page, and the price in effect when you submit a job is what you are charged.

Purchases are handled by our payment processor. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Free Preview

We offer one free preview per visitor, for the photo modes. It is watermarked and reduced in resolution — enough to judge whether the result is worth paying for, not a substitute for the full-resolution output. The free preview is not available in every region.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload photographs you have no right to use.
• Create sexual, abusive, or deceptive imagery — in particular, do not use the service to depict a real person in a misleading way.
• Defeat the free preview limits, the credit system, or any other access control.
• Probe, overload, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or redistribute the service itself without our written permission.

Your Account and Termination

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything done under your account; tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it. You may close your account at any time from your settings, and you can delete any photo and its results from your dashboard at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the service to harm others. If we terminate your account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund unused credits on request.

Intellectual Property

The PhotoRestoration name, interface, and source code are ours and are protected by copyright and trademark law. These Terms grant you no rights in them beyond ordinary use of the service.

Availability and Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and we may retire individual AI models as providers change what they offer. Where a change materially reduces what your existing credits can do, we will give reasonable notice in the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the service. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
