Introduction

PhotoRestoration restores, colorizes, repairs, and animates old photographs. Doing that means handling pictures of people who matter to you, so this policy explains plainly what happens to them — including the free preview.

The Photos You Upload

When you upload a photograph, we store it and send a copy to a third-party AI model provider so its model can produce your result. The provider processes the image to fulfil that one request and returns the output to us. We do not use your photos to train models, we do not sell them, and we do not license them to anyone else.

Your original and its results stay in your account so you can re-download them whenever you like.

Deleting Your Photos

You can delete any photo and everything generated from it from your dashboard, at any time and without asking us. Deleting removes the image and its results from your account. Our backups are cycled on a normal schedule, so a deleted item may persist briefly before it ages out of them.

Information We Collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and sign-in credentials.
• Your photos and results — the images you upload and the restored, colorized, repaired, or animated outputs generated from them.
• Order information — which credit pack you bought, when, and how many credits it granted. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never receive your full card number.
• Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, browser type, and operating system, used to keep the service working and to spot abuse.
• Country — an approximate country code supplied by our hosting edge, used only to decide whether the free preview is offered where you are.
• Cookies — small files that keep you signed in and remember your language and theme.

How We Use Your Information

• To process your photos and deliver the results you asked for.
• To charge credits and keep an accurate balance and order history.
• To send transactional email, such as sign-in and verification messages.
• To answer support and refund requests.
• To detect fraud, abuse, and attempts to farm the free preview.
• To fix bugs and understand which parts of the service are actually used.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Third-party AI model providers, who receive your photo solely to produce the result you asked for.
• Our payment processor, which handles the one-time purchase of credits.
• Infrastructure and email providers, who run the service on our behalf under contract.
• Authorities, where we are legally obliged to answer a valid request.

Data Retention

Credits do not expire, and we keep account data for as long as your account is open. Photos and results stay until you delete them or close your account.

Your Rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information from your account settings, or by asking us. Where local data protection law grants you further rights — portability, objection, restriction, or erasure — we honour those requests too.

Security

We encrypt data in transit, restrict access to production systems, and review our practices. No online service is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you.

Children

The service is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you in the service.
